This entire exchange is entertaining. Gal starts out with "It’s going to have to be spectacular to get me over my issues with the leading man" and after seeing it, ends up at "It is brilliant & so is he. May not be able to stop myself binging the whole thing." Cumberbatching achieved.

I am glad she changed of opinion. I saw her first tweet yesterday and TBH I decided not to post the tweet in which the other journalist actually defended BC's performance (based in knowledge! She actually had seen it!) even when it was great because I still remember when I inadvertently send some fans to attack a journalist who said a stupid thing about him after posting some comments on IMDb.
EDITED: Also how weird that the comments of someone who TBH sounds like a hater are more exciting that, say, a fan as Boyd Hilton. We knew he would love him! It had to be really bad for him to say anything negative about BC. But she didn't sounded particularly objective yesterday. She haven't watched it and still hadn't problem to say the cast was bad and got lyrical about his dislike for the actor to a journalist who ACTUALLY watched the thing and was claiming the opposite! Still, she is objective enough now to say she was wrong and praises the series and the actor. That's exciting!
