More thoughts on the movie . . .
At the end of the movie, I forced my friend to sit through the millions of credits to get to that last scene. I said to my friend, "Who can he be paging when everyone is dead?" We guessed maybe Batman or Superman, since they weren't in the movie. Yes, we're clueless about these movies!
In the lobby after the movie, we stopped to look at the light-up Avengers poster on display. A boy (maybe 10 or 11) stopped and asked if we'd seen the movie and what we thought of it. He asked if we were sad to see the superheroes die, and I said that they were "dead" and not really dead, because we know that there's a second part to the movie. And really, I have faith that Doctor Strange has outsmarted Thanos and has a secret plan to make everything right again - like a true hero!
Then the boy asked who our favourite superhero was, and of course I said Doctor Strange. My friend told him the Hulk because we had grown up with The Incredible Hulk on tv.. I then noticed that the boy was drinking out of one of those Avengers souvenir plastic cups, and I asked him which figure he'd chosen for the top. He said his dad got him three figures (he gestured towards the arcade games where his dad was playing). So I went over to the candy counter and got myself a drink in one of those cups. They only had the Hulk figure left, so I got it. It came to around $10. The movie itself was only $12.50!

The phone screen shows the Captain Marvel design. Her movie is coming up next year.

We guessed maybe Batman or Superman, since they weren't in the movie. Yes, we're clueless about these movies! They're from a different studio. Also they'd be real pricks for not showing up before now if they existed in the same universe haha. But Captain Marvel who they're calling (as mentioned by obs) is kind of like Marvel's version of Superman, if I've understood correctly. I guess they'll have to figure out a reason why she too hasn't shown up to help before...

Yes, I did read somewhere that the symbol on the pager was Captain Marvel.
More thoughts on the movie . . . When we first see Doctor Strange, he and Wong are hanging out at home and squabbling over money. That scene reminded me a lot of the scene in the Blind Banker, with John and Sherlock at home, talking about money.
And in that same scene, Doctor Strange isn't wearing his superhero outfit at first. In fact, he seems to be wearing the same outfit we saw him wearing in 1000 interviews last week. Was Benedict wearing his own clothes in that scene? Or did he walk off the set wearing those clothes and decided to keep them? I'm pretty certain that no one else in the audience noticed anything at all about his outfit, while I had to resist the urge to point to the screen and shout "Hey! That's what he was wearing in his interviews!"

Speaking from the shallow end of the pool, may I say that DS looked damn fine in his street clothes? I needed more of that! And did you notice when duty called he magically changed into his blue outfit with cloak? Now we know how he deals with all that strapping and buckles. He doesn’t! 😂

I saw some random commenter about DS' costume: "Are his pants falling down? Dude has, like, 50 belts."
I noticed other characters magically changing into their super-suits, Scarlet Witch for one.

I think that scene was supposed to show us that some time had passed since we last saw them, and by now Strange and Wong had fallen into a domestic routine. It also seemed that the cloak had been trained to dress Doctor Strange quickly in an emergency, taking care of the straps, belts, buckles, buttons, laces, snaps, hooks, and zippers.
