I listened to it last night. It's really good! I thought I was familiar with this Alfred Hitchcock story, but I wasn't.
I love that even in a radio play, Benedict's character is described as "handsome". And just as I was thinking that his fast talking reminds me of Sherlock, he (his character) actually mentions Sherlock Holmes and 221B Baker Street. He just can't escape it!

He really puts the pathos and suffering into his voice in this one, doesn’t he? I’ve listened to it at least five times. It’s one of my favorite Hitchcock films, with Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck (very young and extremely beautiful) in the main role. Hitch changed it up a bit to add more murder, but it’s the same tale, basically.
