I understand there’s always a SNL party after the episode. Actually, the 1970s ones were legendary in their decadence! Full of sex and drugs! Hopefully, modern ones are more peaceful! Lol
I suppose Lorne Michaels organizes them for the host so BC surely was the center of it.

I just listened to the podcast while I did other things. Wow, was it ever annoying! Why do people start speaking when they don’t know what they’re saying or people’s names? Especially when they’re describing something that they only did in dress rehearsal and will never air! Who cares! Just get on with the story!
They said that the sketches that were filmed but were cut usually get posted online, but that hadn’t happened yet when they did the podcast. I’d be interested in seeing what didn’t get aired.

If that was too annoying, this reddit thread had a great summary. Somewhere elsewhere said that the third dropped sketch mentioned featered a lot of making out. Haha. ETA: They will post the ones that aren't saved for other hosts. The fainting couch was a previously written and cut sketch that was reused with BC.

Thanks! Reading the descriptions was much easier!

It's interesting that he was also in all the sketches that weren't included, too. Again, that's not common! There's always a pair of sketches without the host.

I just saw part of another podcast but it was even worst. It began with two dumb women saying they do not know BC, they haven't watched anything of him and they don't care about him and, after watching the episode, they still don't have any opinion about him.
Wow! I, of course, stopped watching them because why would I care about their no-opinion!
I agreed that all these podcasts are just a bunch of fanboys and fangirls of particular members and their opinions aren't very informed (I'm not a SNL superfan but I feel I know more about its history that some of themand I'm not even American) and are just about saying how much they love that their fave was standing there without lines and without expressions and how he/she is a comedy genius.
I also feel they sometimes don't get the context of the sketches! (the ones asking if someone watched TPOTD and if it was related to the ice cream sketch, for example). Maybe I'm asking too much to randoms!

By the way, the podcast with the women describing the cut stuff (the nicer women not the ones I mentioned in the last post! Lol) answered a question about if BC improvised his lines because he didn't seemed to read the banners while someone like Lizzo was very noticeable reading them (I think she been very obvious was mentioned here). One of them said that he was reading them like others hosts but the other woman agreed that he didn't it. They thought it was because his "strength" is that he is an actor which make me think in the preference of some kind of comedy performance over other. You know, someone doing something in a more professional way VS... someone just being there! But it's interesting they describe it like a "strength"
