Myself and a friend have just booked to go to next year’s Hay Festival. It’s a significant birthday for her and it’s something she’s always wanted to do. I’ve often thought of going too but never got round to it.
Even booking this early there is no accomodation left in the town. We’ve ended up with a cottage about five miles away and prebooked parking in the town. I hope Letters Live will be there but if not there will be more than enough to see and hear.

How exciting!
(Not quite as exciting, I just renewed my TIFF membership for another year. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Grinch and/or Mowgli premiere!)

I am looking forward to it. I like those kind of events. I went to the Wye Valley History Festival (The Hay equivalent for History book authors) a few years ago and it was terrific.
