He had more than three seconds in it, but I agree that he was great in it.
And how was it not a great film? It was a small film, but powerful.

It’s very good but also extremely conventional. There’s a review in this Mexican/Spanish literature magazine from then. Probably I have posted it here before, I certainly have mentioned it! It’s kinda negative but the author praises the old supporting actors AND the unknown kid playing Pitt the Younger. He predicted great things for that actor!
As Jane Campion repeatedly says, he is very charismatic and I agreed that you just can’t take your eyes off him when he enters in scene. It’s not a very dramatic role and in certain way, he is playing just “the best friend role”. A very famous BFF role! but it’s shocking how self-confident and imposing he seems meanwhile having scenes with people like Michael Gambon, Toby Jones and Cieran Hinds!
