Didn't we have a thread going last week, about how BC talks people into doing things his way? Without anyone ever disliking him, or his idea, afterward.

Yes, after what we now can describe as that fake The Times article claiming he wanted to play Cummings as a monster meanwhile James Graham wanted a human version. We said he normally do what he wants to do but there has never been a report that he just forces others to comply to his wishes. It seems more about not being shy about directly asking for what he wants ( a role in The Simpson, Judi Dench playing his mother, doing mo-cap in The Hobbit, playing also the bad guy in Dr. Strange, the whole script of The Avengers...) and charmingly convincing his bosses that it’s a good idea!
I read a very good article on a centrist site doing a very good analysis of the movie but pathetically the author couldn’t resist to paint BC as a crazy left-wig celebrity that thankfully was controlled by the young playwright! All recent articles and interviews contradicted The Times but the narrative (the ‘luvvies’) was too good to ignore for them! I guess!

I read that Forbes review earlier. They’re still stuck on the “why was this movie even necessary?” argument. They say that even though it’s not a bad movie, it’s really only for little kids who don’t know that the original cartoon was a better version .They do seem to like the three little movies included on the DVD.
What bothers me about the article was the comment someone posted saying that they really wanted to see it, but now won’t bother.
