Well, that didn’t take long! “One of the hottestprojects entering the market around the Cannes Film Festival” - I LIKE the sounds of that!!! :-))

Dominic Cooke on The Hollow Crown (8:20) and Ironbark (9:30):
He says the script is "brilliant" (which I kind of believe him considering Variety is saying the project has sold very well in Cannes). My doubt is about the part she asks him when they will shoot it. He says he doesn't know, that they will decided it in weeks but then says something about "autumn or spring" or "the autumn of the spring?" (What does it means?)

Ha! That's an odd thing to say when autumn and spring aren't anywhere near each other. Maybe he just meant it won't be winter or summer.

Ha! That's an odd thing to say when autumn and spring aren't anywhere near each other. Maybe he just meant it won't be winter or summer. I would take it to mean the last part of the spring just before the end of spring (which would be the “winter” of the spring in that regard). To me it would mean Spring would be divided up into “spring” Spring - which would be March (which is transitional so it is also the “winter” of the Winter season), “summer” Spring - which would be April, “autumn” Spring - which would be May and “winter” spring - which is really June and is the “spring” of the Summer! It all makes PERFECT sense to me!!! LOL! :-))

It will come to the US also, right? Does that just happen later?

Film Nation is not handling USA sales. It's at the end of the text. Also there's another paragraph with a lot of other countries. I just posted the one with principal territories.

According to this Dominic Cooke interview (in Spanich), the movie will be released next year: www.esquire.com/es/actualidad/cine/a21932114/entrevista-dominic-cooke-en-la-playa-de-chesil/Wild speculation: Greville Wynne was slightly bald, too so maybe BC is already prepared not for one but two roles! LOL EDITED: Also this is the second interview in which Cooke suggests he didn't have total control over On Chesil Beach. I read another one (also in Spanish) in which he said he didn't even had right to the final cut. He is producing Ironbark so I hope he has more freedom with it.
