I guess that doesn't explain the bald head! He's probably just trying to grow out the Brexit hair evenly.

But he has to start out with hair, so that they can cut off when he’s captured. I really hope they show that scene in the movie!

I'll just be happy to see his hair again, however briefly!

They never shoot in order, it’s a logistics issue. Saw an interview with BC where he said they shot the last scene of Patrick Melrose first. To my mind that’s exceptional acting when you haven’t had any buildup or told the story linerally.

Yes, but he’s read the material lots of times, and carefully plots out exactly where the character is, psychologically, so he can access any point in time. I remember his director in Third Star talking about how he does that. Still, you’re right, it is impressive how he held that lifetimes journey of pain, trauma, and struggle, in just those few moments at the end of PM.

I just read a short bio summary and it sounds like an amazing story! After his realese his alcoholism destroyed his two marriages and probably he was a big fabulist who gave the impression was eager for publicity. At least that was what his critics said. There was apparently also evidence that he was a Marxist and anti-capitalist in his younger years. So a very complex man! But I'm not sure the movie will portray this! He presented himself as a patriotic hero on his books and the scriptwriter seems more interested in action flicks than complex drama, based in his produced scripts. I hope I'm wrong, tho.!
EDITED: C'mon! He was great and surprisingly sympathetic as an alcoholic destroying a marriage in Patrick Melrose! I want to see him doing it without the "safety net" of the audience knowing he was an abused child! I know he can do it!
