Hello, account_disabled. Are hebrew and you married or siblings? I ask because I saw you share the same IP from Pakistan. I'd love to know more about your country. Are you from Punjab? I read some weeks ago about the partition of the original province of Punjab and the problems it generated. Was your family already settled on the Pakistani side or were part of the people who migrated? I read about it after watching Sacred Games the series on Netflix. Have you seen it?

Hello Zac
Feel free to tell us all about yourself and especially how you came to be a Cumberbatch fan. I am a retired schoolteacher and as you now know have a great interest in travelling as well as a unflagging enthusiasm for Benedict Cumberbatch. I also love gardening and watching movies. Nice to meet you!

Well I am sure there are some on this list who are much more widely travelled than I but still i have had an abiding passion for it ever since my early childhood ever since my dad and mom used to bundle my sister and myself up in the old Ford stationwagon and we'd go on weekend trips and sleep in the car overnight on weekends.
My family made sure we saw our home country first so as a child we travelled Canada coast to coast in a camper trailer.
As an adult once I was married (to a great guy who never went anywhere as a child, but always longed to - EDIT: and I still AM married to him!... never write a long post early in the morning!) we travelled to a number of places as we could whenever our time off for vacations would allow.
Then once we both retired it freed us up for a more flexible schedule which was nice.
Over the years I have been to Cuba, the UK (twice - the last time, we stayed for about a month), Ireland, France (at least 4 times), Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany (twice), Italy, the Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Japan, Australia and Iceland. We have also travelled a number of times to the USA - to Boston, NYC (twice), Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, Charleston NC, Washington, Chicago and Many times to Detroit.
In Canada I have been to every province except Newfoundland/Labrador and the Arctic territories. And as for my home province of Ontario, I have been almost everywhere over my 64 years.
If you are interested in my last trip before Iceland, which was our month long trip to England, I wrote about that and posted it on this board under the Travel thread.
Have you done some traveling? I am always eager to here about others experiences.
😊
