Latest scuttlebutt is that the Cumberbatches did indeed have another boy and the new baby's name is Finn. This is NOT from Twitter and it does sound (although not 100%) sort of real.

I'd delete the tumblr post. She's very easy to find (BC's PA in Patrick Melrose). She's going to be harassed. The only problem is that perhaps lots of people are calling their sons Finn because of Star Wars.

Of course not being a Star Wars fan I had no idea of that association. So to me Finn is just a very lovely rather unique but not weird sounding name.
I think you are correct - the PA or the tumblr person who posted this might be harassed by a certain faction of jerks out there once they get wind of this.
I hope it is true however! E en thpugh I was wishing for a girl, I am sure this baby is adorable and adored. I guess he really IS going for that "batch of boys"!

Poor Sophie! Drowning in a family of boys, lol. Glad to hear this, tho. Some folks on Celebitchy (yes,I know 🙄) were surmising she’d had a late term miscarriage which is why we hadn’t heard anything. I got so worried! This puts my mind a little more at ease. Finn’s a good name.
My real last name is long and complicated (Nicolaides), so my folks chose short, easy names for the front end. Mark, David And Mary. Maybe Ben & Sophie were thinking along the same lines.

My dad used to get a lot of sympathy being in a household greatly outnumbered by the female persuasion (5 to 1). He used to laugh and say there wasn't a day that somebody wasn't in their period, going into their period or coming out of their period!

God. I'm sure we wouldn't have seen multiple photos of them partying and smiling at various events lately, if that had happened. Why is it so hard for people to accept that a celebrity's baby still exists, even if they haven't been personally informed all about it?

They were actually concerned about it, not being mean or anything. I think all the Sophie haters have left.

Finn or Fionn (Gaelic spelling) is a popular name in Ireland because of the legend of Fionn MacCumhaill ( Finn MacCool). He’s our King Arthur ready to rise again to defend Ireland in a time of peril. Even his dog, Bran the Irish Wolfhound, is legendary! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fionn_mac_CumhaillNot that I’m suggesting it has anything to do with the name selection but I wouldn’t be surprised if BC has some Celtic ancestry. His very pale skin and reddish ( sorry, Auburn 😀) hair is extremely Irish or Scottish colouring. You don’t really get it in any other race.,
