Benedict is at 12:35. I’ve never heard of his song! This is a great Christmas playlist. My favourite is the first song, Last Christmas - the original and best version by Wham. Every time I hear it, it brings back vivid memories of my very first job many, many years ago. We had a weekend work event, and one of my colleagues went to get her cassettes from her car so that we could listen to some music in the evening once our meetings were finished. She left one behind so I put it in my bag to bring it to her on Monday. It was a Wham cassette, which we hadn’t listened to, so I decided to play it while I drove. When they got to Last Christmas, I loved it immmediately. So I played it again. My car’s cassette player had a feature that let you listen to a song over and over, so that’s what I did. I listened to Last Christmas on a loop for the hour drive home. By then, I knew it by heart. It was years, though, before I started hearing it played on the radio at Christmas time and other singers did their own versions. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0001r1f

Sorry but I didn't like his selection at all. Firstly the male vocalist wasn't a very good singer and secondly the lyrics were a bit too edgy for my taste.
I guess I am just too much of a traditionalist when it comes to Xmas music.
One of my favourite Christmas songs is "Christmas in Killarney" by the Barra MacNeils. Another is off the same album by the Barra Macneils - Children's Winter.
