I think it is going to be possible to watch on www.channel4.com/ using the Beebs extension for chrome. I had no problem watching live or the some programs (I watched The Bisexual which was mentioned in some best of the year lists and I verified that I could access Derry Girls). I couldn't access other programs (I wanted to watch a French series, for instance) and I got a message that they are available only in the UK. It sometimes detects that I'm not in the UK and sometimes doesn't. Strange. Anyway, you have to register to Channel4 and it asks you for an addrese in the UK. You can search an address by entering a post code and then look through a list or enter an address directly. Anyone. Otherwise wait till the 19th.

Besides the political stuff that has to be there, Benedict has some scenes that come up frequently in his roles. So here’s what I’ll be looking forward to seeing in Brexit: -Benedict running or jogging -Benedict crying -Benedict in the bath or shower, or swimming, or wet in some other manner

I had already registered. It won’t work on my iPad, of course. It asks if I want to watch it in the app, and then asks me to download the app. But then it tells me that the Channel 4 app isn’t available in my country. If I select to just watch from the website, it tells me that I can’t because I don’t have Flash Player. But it works just fine on my laptop! Thanks for your help!

I can't watch it live which it's kind of frustrating because surely I will see all the extreme reactions first! Well, we have a lot of extreme reactions already!

I finally couldn't watch it. It kept advancing a little and going back and repeating the previous scene. I'll try again tonight. It is on channel4 for 29 days.

A lot of people were saying there were too much ads. I thought that maybe it was better than I could not watched it! It would be better on HBO.

A lot of people were saying there were too much ads. I thought that maybe it was better than I could not watched it! It would be better on HBO. There were ads, but I kind of enjoyed them! I like ads from other countries because they’re usually much more entertaining than ours. Except for the annoying Trip Avisor ad with the owl, which they show here, too! Sometimes ads are exactly like ours, but with a British voiceover. During the first commercial break last night, I was able to do a bunch of stuff. It was starting to get dark, so I went around the house closing the blinds and turning on the lights. But after that, the breaks were much shorter and I actually missed a few seconds of Benedict walking his bicycle in the park.

Yes, the ads! They went forever but after the first batch of ads you can turn on the ad blocker (so I read on a forum). I only watched The Bisexual and a Jamie Oliver episode and I didn't block the ads but they weren't so many as yesterday.

Even when we didn't own a remote he would jump up out of his chair and turn down the sound on the television just to avoid listening to commercials from the mid 1970s on. I have very little knowledge of any commercials as a result. And now we don't have cable TV so I never even see any commercials at home (even muted). I am always shocked when we visit others and they watch commercials! Some of them are clever but I think they are highly repetitive.

I took a business and marketing class in high school where there was a section on advertising, so I’ve been fascinated with it ever since. I agree that commercials are usually annoying, but I still find myself analyzing the thinking that went into them. The best part of that class was the day our teacher showed us videos (or films, in those days!) of the winning Clio Award commercials. He had warned us that other countries allowed nudity in their commercials, which of course we weren’t allowed to see. So when we got to the nudity parts, he turned the focus knob on the film projector to blur the scene. Ha!
(Not to brag or anything, but I won the Junior and Senior Business Awards for the highest marks in Business courses when I was in high school. The Business awards were handed out at a fancy lunch where parents were invited, and we got a framed certificate and a $100. And the award was also announced later on at graduation.)
By the way, we learned that the reason we find some commercials so annoying is because they are not targeted to us. So new mothers love diaper commercials when the rest of us switch channels.
