More info,
She is a good writer. I remember The Hour, it was kinda conventional but well made. It is also one of those series that were suddenly canceled so we never knew what happened to Ben Wishow's character after being brutally beaten! I'm still waiting to know! Lol
The Invisible Woman and Shame were also good. The Iron Lady wasn't so well received. I didn't watched it but Meryl Streep won her Oscar!

It sounds kind of sordid, which I like! They also mention the role of a NYPD detective.
She also wrote River for Netflix. I think someone here recommended me, am I wrong? But I only watched the first episode before it disappeared!
I hope it's true and he began to film it soon! He has a lot of projects but it would be great to see something concrete soon (with him as the star!). This project sounds good to me!
EDITED Also, another female filmmaker/showmaster. Well, two! I searched the director and she has also two acclaimed shows. I have read about them but I haven't watched them.

I liked River.
The director directed episodes from The End of the Fucking World and This is Going to Hurt. I didn't finished the last one. I liked both.

I think you recommended it to me! But it was delated from Netflix the day after I saw the first episode!
Hopefully, we know more about this soon!
EDITED Her recent show with Ben Wishaw (again! Maybe he will be Aldo in the mini series!) received a lot of acclaim, too

EDITED Her recent show with Ben Wishaw (again! Maybe he will be Aldo in the mini series!) received a lot of acclaim, too That's This is Going to Hurt. I got to see one of the episodes on the IPlayer (and then they detected I was using a vpn) and one on TVMucho (but then I forgot to record the next one). It was good and Ben Wishaw is always good. Some people I follow on twitter have it as best show of 2022.
This is the author of the book.

Well, it sounds very promising! All her work has been very well received and the scriptwriter and produced is a very respected established artist. I hope it materialized. It seems it was reported before that they would shoot it from November 2022 to April 2023 but they still didn't had the cast. Hopefully it's something imminent.

They had time to write a good script and prepare.
My only problem is that I'm already dreading the comments on BC's american accent.
