Mark Gatiss on what he thinks about critics (S4) - Video

I don't think they are looking for anything really.  They are just in a blind rage because they know in their heart of hearts they brought this on themselves by just refusing to listen to what the writers told them over and over and over again.

Just look at the pattern of their replies.  Indignation and outrage (at the fact that they didn't get what they wanted), then turning on M&G and saying that they are crap writers (because they didn't write the story exactly the way TJLC wanted it written), then turning on the rest of the cast and crew (when they realised that M&G weren't going to fall all over them and beg forgiveness for upsetting the fans of JL), then attacking the BBC (because they didn't any support for the supposed queer representation campaign that they dreamed up to try and widen their dashed fanfic dreams), and now, when more and more people are cluing into the fact that their vengeful smear tactics are just cloaking their butt-hurt TJLC imaginings, they are trying to act like they represent the whole fandom  done wrong by the big, bad writers.  They are flaying away like a drowning person clutching for a life preserver, trying desperately to rally some wider support when none is in sight.

Just like John kicking Sherlock, the JLers are lashing out at M&G because they are really disappointed in themselves.  Kicking at M&G won't solve anything for them, and in the end it won't make them feel better.  Only looking into themselves will do that and facing reality.  Just like John finally realised at the end of TLD - recognise that "it is what it is".  And then move on with your life. And bravo to Mark Gatiss for saying what he did in the interview clip - every writer should live by those words!  And anyone who says differently is just not being honest (and that includes all those "fans" who say otherwise).

OMG. The idiot Johnlockers are still at it with the BBC. They've planned a tweetstorm for tomorrow (Sunday, US time) to harass the Beeb. Read this, it's just ridiculous:

Yes, there are many people who wasn't thrilled by season 4 but all these complaints almost strictly pointing to TFP are from Johnlockers and TJLCers. There was a poster on the Imdb Sherlock board who tried to sound very rational and never mentioned Johnlock, only rant against TFP but her tumblr has Norbury as title and she re twitted all the hate against Gatiss.

Something I don't quite understand - why are they mounting this harassment against the BBC on Sunday?  Why that day specifically?  Is Sunday somehow significant to them?  Or they think it is significant to the BBC?  Even with getting used to all the stupidity that they wallow in constantly, I don't get that at all.

I have said that in the past - the JLers who have taken to harassing the BBC, M&G, and the cast and crew of Sherlock (TJLCers in other words) are just trying to mask their butthurt about not getting their "ship" as canon in the last episode.  They are purposely disguising it as general dissatisfaction with the writing of M&G, pandering to the gay representation issue folks, talking up a storm about the unfair treatment of women characters on the show and even going so far as to suggest that issues of family abuse are being promoted on the show - all in an effort to widen their "audience" of receptive people who might join their "cause".  

It's a strategy that the BC/SH marriage haters have used to great effect to garner more suckers into their fold - except they have hooked on to naive people with the line that SH is an abuser of BC because she is a narcissistic personality who has entrapped him to gain financially from him.  So if you really love BC then of course you don't want to see him abused and destroyed by this "degenerate" NPD woman!  Their blogs are filled with positive messages about loving, and finding true relationships, and how to spot abusers and how to recognise when a narcissist is trying to manipulate you!  Anything but about what they are really upset about - the fact that BC married someone that they don't approve of (because they really thought that he would marry someone just like them!).

Just like TJLCers - they only have the gay representation issue at heart!  They want equality for women! They don't want to see spousal abuse promoted!  They want "quality" writing shown!!!  Join their noble campaign!  It isn't just about a silly "ship"!  It is about a worthy cause!

It is disgusting how these types highjack worthy causes and try to fold their own immature, revengeful, hateful feelings into them to get more followers.  

And while I don't think speaking out against them will ever make them go away (and ignoring them won't either), I do think it is important that people do identify them as the creepy, vile things that they are.  They shouldn't be allowed to spread their lies and misappropriations of the facts without some opposition.  So bravo to MG for not giving a "monkeys" about the wankers, and bravo to BC for calling out the obsessive, scary delusional behaviour of people who say his marriage and child is PR.  Fight back and don't let those types of nobs take over the conversation.
