Keep it civil
- Be polite. Treat other members like you would like to be treated. Don’t post anything that a reasonable person would consider offensive, abusive or hate speech.
- People are likely to have differences of opinion. That is what makes the place interesting. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said. If you have to, just move on.
- Watch your sense of humor, posts may be written or read by people from a variety of countries, languages, backgrounds and ages.
Keep it clean
- This forum is aimed at a general audience. Do not post inappropriate material. If you would
not feel comfortable viewing it at work, or in front of children or parents, do not post it. - Keep the language, links, and images safe. Swearing is not completely banned, just do not swear unnecessarily.
Keep it tidy
- Make the effort to put things in the right place, so that we can spend more time discussing and less cleaning up.
- Before posting, search the other posts to see if your topic is already covered.
- Do not use all caps or SHOUT in your posts.
- When replying to a post, do not quote more from the previous post than you have to.
- Stay on topic
- Do not interrupt a topic of discussion by posting something unrelated. Start a new thread instead.
- Do not double post (post the same message twice in one thread) or cross post (place the same message across several boards).
- Do not spam.
- Ignore spammers and trolls. Don’t respond to them through the boards. Just report them.
- Do not use the boards for a private conversation. Private conversations can be handled through PM.
