Yikes. Hopefully this will be the end of Ben and Marvel. Even with Feige declaring how much he loves DS, they’ve done him dirty. It’s painful to me how badly they treated his character, even though BC gives it his all, and adds those little bits (when he can), to grow his character and increasing the value of the scene and the dialogue.
BC will have to pick up another franchise or something to bring in the big bucks to funnel into SunnyMarch. What would you like to see him in?

When you say that Marvel has "done him dirty" do you mean as of DS:MOM or casting him in Avengers 5?
I know personally I didn't like MOM but then it's not like I thought the original DS was great theatre - just that it was better than most comic book movies.
DS:MOM was more like every CBM I've seen (and I admit, that isn't many) - noisy, crowded, too much emphasis on over the top special effects, too much formula.
And absolutely a waste of BC's talents!
To tell you the truth if he had to do a "series" I would like him to do a sequel to the Star Trek he did as Khan for J.J. Abrams. But I think that's not happening. The ST movies seem to have fizzled and too many whinners would bitch about him "stealing" the role from a minority or some such thing.
But I'd love to see Khan again and continue his saga.
Perhaps he could join the "Ocean's" series? (As in Ocean's 11, 12, 13) with George Clooney et al. Is that even a thing nowadays? That might be fun.

Yeah, I mean waiting 6 years for his sequel and then relegating him to nearly a background character in service to Wanda’s shenanigans. I’m still angry about it, lol.
I’d like to see him in The Prisoner, if they made it into a series of, say, 3 movies, or maybe something from a series of books being adapted into a sprawling epic fantasy or something like that. A completely new and different character for him. I dunno, I’m not the creative type. But anything but Bond. Jeez I hate that franchise. 😂

Well I like the Bond movies, especially the ones with Dsniel Craig and I was a young girl when Sean Connery was the hottest guy around in Dr. No (even though now it all seems really silly).
But I don't think BC should be in the Bond movies either.
I really do like your idea about The Prisoner, though!
I was a HUGE fan of that series! I loved everything about it. My sister and I never missed an episode.
And it would be a perfect series for someone like BC - all mysterious and brooding!

I don't see him quitting Marvel. It's a lot of money for considerably less effort than his other projects take. I think these movies are like a mini-break for him in between serious roles. I don't think I'll watch any more of them, though. I adore him, obviously, but it's not worth it when he's not the main character (like QZ said, he wasn't present enough in MoM for me).

He's never in the Avengers movies much. There are too many characters.

He's never in the Avengers movies much. There are too many characters. That's true. And if they're filming in the UK he'd be near his family. It's just that I don't care for those movies. I read that his contract was for ten years, if so, it finishes next year, I guess.

It’s torture to sit through those Marvel movies - except for Benedict being onscreen. But I think Doctor Strange has been good for his career. He’s the one that everyone points out is a serious Oscar-nominated actor who also does the nonsense superhero stuff. As always, he’s much better than the material deserves!
