Here's a TVLine poll on the best actor in a Limited Series -

I have seen all the listed actors and they all were excellent in their respective roles. I wouldn't be especially upset if any of them won but I think there were a few who stood even in this illustrious group head and shoulders over the rest. For my money I think Ruiz Ahmed, Cumberbatch and Robert De Niro carried their productions to a whole other level.
But even among that upper level group, nothing I saw took the crown away from BC's Sherlock in The Lying Detective, so he got my vote for the best.
There is also another poll for the Best Actress in a Limited Series -

My vote went for Nicole Kidman (but it was really close for me between her and Reese W. and Carrie Coon).
They haven't done one for Best Movie Made for TV category but the nominees are -
Sherlock: The Lying Detective
The Wizard of Lies
San Junipero
Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
Unfortunately I couldn't find a download of The Immortal Life of HL, so I never got to see it (hopefully I will some day) and I just couldn't bring myself to watch the Dolly Parton one (sorry but it just isn't something I would even consider watching).
But I did see the rest and I don't think San Junipero should have been even nominated (didn't like it at all). So for me it was between Wizard of Lies and Sherlock and although I loved RDN's performance and I found Wizard of Lies very intriguing from start to finish it didn't stand a chance of winning with me over BC and Sherlock (actually I loved all of Season 4 of Sherlock so any one of the three episodes would have won over the competition).
On the TVLine site they said they would be doing a poll for every category so I will vote for Sherlock when I see that poll too.
:-))
