I know knowthing about Taika, but I love him already. I know he's a New Zealander but that's it. Can anyone enlighten me, including how to pronounce his name?
ps. Happy 34th birthday, Chris! You hunk, you.

You hunk, you. Taika is so funny. And he is VERY attractive! 😍 I don't know his filmography all that well but I've been following him since he signed up for Thor Ragnarok. No idea how his name is supposed to be pronounced in the proper way he would say it. But "taika" in Finnish means magic or spell so I like saying his name in the Finnish way so I extend it to his last name too. 😁 I don't know how to spell phonetically so how that is to all ya Anglos, I dunno. We pronounce like we write, most similar to how Japanese words are pronounced but also Spanish. English pronunciation is insane lol.

Tie - kaah why - tee - tee
(Just a guess and hunch)
Or
Taa - ee - kaah Waah - ee - tee - tee
That's how we Indonesian would pronounce it, and Australia is near Indonesia (we were one island before the meteor hit, I think..), and New Zealand is near Australia.
Lol.

I watched his vampire movie and yes, it's very funny but in a dude humor kind of way. For some it was a revolutionary comedy but in some ways it was just the typical guys comedy even with the novelty of the circle of male friends being vampires being filmed for a documentary.
