At the Black Panther premiere, Martin Freeman was asked if he and Benedict would ever work together in one of these Marvel movies.

I knew about this vid because I saw a few Freeman's fans moaning about journalists always asking him about BC! LOL
TBF I think it's more Sherlock related than anything (which BC and others involve are frequently asked no matter what) except that the event was about Marvel so they centered the question around a possible reunion.

Even if Martin was annoyed by the question, he was a good sport about it. I guess that's what makes him a good actor!
With all the red-carpet events going on these days, the type of question that bothers me the most is when they ask a celebrity if they're excited to meet another, more famous, celebrity. Like when they ask an actress if she's excited to meet Meryl Streep. Or at the Grammys when a singer was asked if she was excited to meet Beyoncé.

It just occurred to me that if Martin Freeman is in the US for the Black Panther premiere, maybe he'll do some talk shows, too. So I just checked and he's on Conan O'Brien tonight. I know he's there to promote the movie, but I'm hoping Conan asks him about Sherlock!

I don't think he's annoyed about it anymore, although well...he probably was to some extent at one point. But is he honestly still always being asked about Benedict? And besides, it's a totally relevant question here! Martin looks very good. He's much better looking nowadays than when he was younger. I think it's the brighter hair color, it suits him.

He’s also been working out, which has made a difference. He’s got a powerhouse little bod now. 😍

His new hair colour does look good on him! I can't tell whether it's greyer or he's added blond to it. And I'll take your word for his body because I only see him when he's dressed!
He wasn't asked about Benedict or Sherlock, although Sherlock was mentioned in Conan's introduction. It's a very silly talk show, so they discussed Martin's American accent in Fargo and why British accents make people sound smart. Martin assured us that the UK does have its share of dumb people! Conan thanked him for not showing up with an entourage to style him before his appearance, like some other celebrities do. But Martin said he doesn't have a stylist because he's a grown man and has been dressing himself for years. Ha! Then he explained that he can't just be brought a rack of clothes to select because everything he wears has to be altered first because he's "not tall". Conan said he has the same problem, but for the opposite reason.
They showed a clip from Black Panther - a big fight scene in a casino with lots of shooting and violence. I think Martin was in the scene, but I couldn't find him. He was asked about working with Andy Serkis again after The Hobbit, which led to a discussion about the way British actors are trained for the stage as well as for cameras, so they're really prepared for any acting situation. But, he said, American actors who've only ever done tv or film have a difficult time learning long pieces of dialogue because they've never had to.
He was funny and charming and seemed to enjoy being on such a silly show.

And besides, it's a totally relevant question here! I don't follow him but I doubt it. We would knew because BC fans would posted everywhere! It's just some fans being irrationally competitive. They don't have bad fame like BC or Sherlock fans and in general they seem more low-key but I remember a few of them were very angry the first time BC was nominated to an Emmy and Freeman not! (He has a BAFTA and BC not! All of them are silly awards! Who cares?!) It happens in all so called fandoms!
