Did anyone else watch this? I absolutely loved it! It's an Agatha Christie story that I don't remember reading, but apparently there were changes made to it for this adaptation and not everyone is pleased about it.
I was just checking Twitter to see what people thought, and most viewers agreed with me. I thought it was terrific! It was just the kind of murder mystery I enjoy, where the victim deserved it and everyone had a motive for doing it. But then other tweeters were outraged that BBC One had made so many changes to AC's story, including the killer! But who cares? It was so much fun and gripping to watch! I hope that PBS shows it eventually.
It was actually refreshing to see such extreme reactions to something that wasn't Sherlock! I think my favourite tweets were the ones complaining about plot points that were "confusing", and people answered back that they should have paid attention! Ha!
I guess that's the world we live in now - people barely pay attention to a show, and then go on social media to say how bad it was. It's really a shame that a number of people said they had been planning to watch it, but now, after reading the comments, were no longer going to bother.
