I was inspired to do this by comments in another thread about people being astounded by others not liking some famous movies like ET.
Well how about iconic movies you’ve never even seen?
I’ve never seen:-
Ben Hur Mary Poppins Gone With The Wind Cassablanca

I've never watched: Titanic The Lord of the Rings (just half of the first one) Jaws Rocky The Shawshank Redemption

Out of your list RP I have not seen;
Beauty & the Beast Wall -e Brokeback Mountain The Dark Knight Jurassic Park Fight Club The Big Lebowski
Of those I have seen would recommend Singin’ in the Rain and Amelie.
Have seen all of your list Magda. Only one I would thouragly recommend is The Sawshank Redemption. Not an easy watch but ultimately really uplifting.

Ooo, that's a toughie ellie. I just not a musical kind of person so Singin' In the Rain isn't ever going to inspire me to watch it.
Amélie - I could see myself watching it.
Of the 19 films on my list other than Amélie I could also see myself watching some day - The Big Lebowski and maybe Fight Club or Pulp Fiction (but the ultra violence is a big turnoff) but definitely not anything to do with Tolkien, or anything musical or anything animated. Just not my cup of tea.
Looking at your list ellie - Casablanca and Gone With the Wind are favs of mine (probably Casablanca because of the cast and the dialogue; GWtW because I loved the book and VL was luminous).
Mary Poppins - I watched as a child and haven't had any desire to rewatch it (too much singing) and Ben Hur... there's a story with that one - it was Dan's favourite movie as a kid, and I had never seen it, so we watched it together as adults and... we both HATED it! Dan was so disappointed that it was such a crap film but had to admit there wasn't one redeeming quality about it when viewed as an adult. Lol!

Im falling about screaming.
I love classic movies, have seen every one of these multiple times, and I’m appalled at you, lol. Singing in the Rain has got some of the most virtuoso dancing ever captured on film. “Moses Supposes,” with Gene Kelly and Donald O”Connor is absolutely gobsmacking.
How can I be friends with you? 😉

Of the lists mentioned so far, these are the movies I haven’t seen. I’m including movies that I’ve technically seen but not watched - if that makes sense! When I was little and we only had one tv, some of these older movies would have been playing on our tv, but I couldn’t tell you what they’re about.
Singin' in the Rain The Empire Strikes Back LotR: Return of the King Wall-e The Big Lebowski The Matrix Fight Club Ben Hur Mary Poppins Rocky Casablanca

I’m with Queenzod on Singin in the Rain. Glorious movie. And really funny. Lena Lamont is hilarious.
And I’m with Roverpup on Ben Hur. I hate “swords and sandals” movies.
