While I absolutely appreciate the humour (and almost avant-garde aspect) behind BC's "drawing" I think I like Sophie's effort and his Christmas images better as pieces for an auction for charity.
But what a sport both of them are to participate in this worthwhile project.

I bought a ticket for this, but I guess I would have heard if I had won. The article explained why his art was a question in his handwriting. I would definitely have framed it and hung it up if I had won it!

Update: I had a nice little surprise today when I went to get the mail. There was a package from Anno's Africa with my raffle prize! After I knew I hadn't won Benedict's art, I didn't even bother checking whether I had won one of the other prizes. I won the art of Cara Theobold, who I've never heard of because I never watched Downton Abbey. It's very pretty. Here's the website with the list of winners, with MY NAME listed under the name of BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. In what world would that ever happen?? www.annosafrica.org.uk/welcome-raffle-1/

Another update: I found out that Cara Theobold is on Twitter, so I tweeted her to thank her for the art that I won. She just tweeted back congratulations and thanks for supporting Anno's Africa. That was very nice of her!

Congrats on winning such a lovely art piece - and for such a great cause!
Cara Theobold played one of my favourite characters on Downton Abbey.
