I started watching this yesterday, and it’s very good. I like Sacha Baron Cohen a lot! I have two more episodes to go, but so far it’s been gripping - even if I’m probably not following everything that’s going on.
As I watch it, I can’t help but think of Benedict in Ironbark. I realize that it’s a completely different spy story, but there must be similarities in these two ordinary men being recruited and trained as spies! And then I worry that audiences will be all spied out by the time Ironbark comes out - that they figure they’ve already seen this story and won’t give Ironbark a chance.

I just finished it. It was terrific! I hope Ironbark is as good!

I just saw the trailer on Netflix. It looks good and I really like to see comedians doing dramatic roles. They seem to me extra sad! I think I will watch it!

I was reading an interview with SBC who said he was worried about how audiences would react to him not doing comedy. He said that the show won’t work if you don’t believe him and like him. He has nothing to worry about! I’ve seen him in probably every comedy role he’s done, and I totally bought him playing this serious character. I wanted to scream at my iPad to warn him when his character finally makes a rare fatal error near the end! Ha!
