I would be happy to add to the profits, but I can’t find it scheduled to play anywhere. It’s just listed as “coming soon”. There are movies coming out in December that are already selling advanced tickets!
And how could a movie that was never released be a “flop”?

I think that they're saying it was a critic flop. It was bad received by critics. Friday: $947000 Weekend estimate: 2.9 mi box office pro

It’s only 2% away fro being Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, so it’s still possible. And it has the highest score among the Rottens - yay! It doesn’t have enough reviews yet to be certified.
I noticed that Maleficent is doing well despite the bad reviews and 41% on RT.

THR is predicting a $2.7M with the comment that they were hoping for a $3M but still, that guy was totally wrong!

I won't see it until Tuesday, but I've noticed lots of positive comments about it on Facebook articles. The only people complaining seem to be Tesla fans.

Yes, the reviews were lukewarm, much better than the original version. But general audience comments are very positive. Scott Mendelson recommended it again on his column. He didn't say it's great but that he really enjoyed it and it's a shame it never really had a chance on the box office. He recommends people to search for it on VOD or streaming services in the future.
The box office forum comments went from being cynical about the "last" Weinstein film to be kind to the "poor" director and now a few of them are recommending it as a good film with great performances.
It never has a chance but at least producers, the director and the actors gave it some dignity to it.
