I'm putting this tweet here because of the comment about going on-demand after the release.

Does anyone remember the real Stuart Couch making the news? I was reminded of it when I looked him up. He was the judge when Trump had all those children taken away from their parents and caged. One day a small child was crying in the court room, and Couch told him to be quiet. When the child continued to cry, Couch told the interpreter to tell the child to be quiet or he would send in a mean dog to attack him. The interpreter didn’t want to do it, but then did.
There were complaints about Crouch threatening the child, and people asked for him to be removed from that job. When he was questioned about it, Crouch dismissed it as something you say to kids to get them to do what they’re told, and everyone knows the threat isn’t true. There was no mean dog waiting to attack children. But in fact there were security dogs around the building, so the terrified child believed the threat was real.
When I first read about this, before I ever knew about Benedict’s role, I thought it was kind of funny and that people were making way too big a deal about it. In my family, using the “big bad wolf” as a way to scare kids to obey was very common. I used to think it was an old-fashioned thing to do, but then I heard my cousin’s husband say that to his kids when they got too close to the unfenced area at the back of their yard. I guess Stuart Couch never learned modern parenting methods! If I had been that interpreter, I would never have told the child about the dog. I would have said something else - anything else - and Couch would never have known.

I guess the intention couldn't be really measured without context but all the process was rotten from the beginning because it's just not right to put infants on trials so even if it was just an old-fashioned well-meaning comment it was still harming.

This is in regards to the film festival that is supposedly showing The Mauritanian... I tried to register for this and although the registration is free it's useless. If you live in places like I do. None of the films or talks were "available" in my country. So I guess you have to live in the UK? They make it sound like you register for free and then you pay per event to view things at home but that isn't true.

Shallow comment but BC’s cheekbones ARE looking especially spectacular in that pic and that haircut suits him.

Yesterday many movies releases were again moved to October, November, etc.
Just saw this.
I don't know how they're going to release this movie.
