Not all but a good number of them. Most than other filmmakers!
I saw a few speculation by fans that maybe it’s from the a scene from the married couple but c’mon the book describes a full frontal nude in that bathing scene. Also, as I said then, neither BC nor Campion are shy to that kind of scenes. Someone said BC used “all clausures” for Frankenstein. Well, yeah, they didn’t do the first part of the play in the nude for the recording but they did it live. Multiple times. It wasn’t like he cared for people watching him without clothes! It’s just that he and others decided not doing a very revealing and explicit “dance” completely in the nude for a moving and “invading” camera. I can understand the difference and I kind of think, it should had been more difficult to doing it live on theatre.

Phil's yearly bath is very important to the plot, and full nudity would be appropriate. Neither Jane Campion nor BC shy away from this, though I hope he doesn't do it. Why? If it's appropriate for the plot and an integral part of the character (which it seems to be) then I think he should do it (as long as he doesn't have a problem with it personally, which it seems he doesn't).

Yeah, at the end of the day it’s just about the performer feeling confortable doing it or not. Good for him if he did it and good for him if he didn’t (but it seems he did! At least it is referring to another scene that’s not in the book!)

Artistically, it is the right choice for that scene. I just don't want people to make fun of him.

There are always insecure idiots but he, Campion and the film are superior to all of them! So we shouldn't care for them!

I know, and he won't care either. I'm just protective, for some silly reason.

I think that BC would do whatever it takes to bring the character to life and if that involves nudity and the director believed in that same philosophy (that it was a necessary component of the story) then I'm all in!
People who would mock him for doing what he thought was necessary for the character and film aren't worth even paying attention to anyway.

They changed the rating on Netflix. Now it had the MPAA rating. It was nudity, language and smoking until yesterday. I wonder about the British rating. It apparently was “injury detail”. The British use a lot that! They are very worried about “injury details”! I have checked the BBFC site but I haven’t seen anything about it. Nor Louis Wain. The Courier is 12 but there aren’t descriptions of the “offensive material”
Another curiosity, apparently the film is called Dog Attack in Brazil!
