I like to think Ivy and little Charles ran away together to New York and lived together in bliss. I mean, something good had to come out of that mess, didn’t it? ☺️

I like to think Ivy and little Charles ran away together to New York and lived together in bliss. I mean, something good had to come out of that mess, didn’t it? ☺️ I agree! There’s no scenario that would have fixed their situation, so they might as well continue with their plans to get away from their horrible family. Of course, we don’t know Little Charles’ reaction to the news that his father isn’t really his father, and his cousin/girlfriend is actually his sister.

Yeah, but once they calm down I think it’ll be okay. I mean yeah, it’s *unusual* for half siblings to uh, get together, but it happens. I think it’s allowed in some places as long as they don’t have children and Ivy had that taken care of b/c of her cancer. He loved her so much that I think he had to agree, but that’s my own romantic opinion.

Have you ever had one of those days when something just seems to be trying to tell you somebody?

Off the top of my head: Love: Sherlock, Third Star, Hawking, Imitation Game, Stuart a Life Backwards, Tinker Tailor, and his blink-and-you-miss-it appearance in MI5 Lukewarm: Forty Something (I adore Anna Chancellor, and he's pretty adorable as Rory), The Last Enemy, The Hollow Crown, War Horse Not keen on: To the Ends of the Earth, The Other Boleyn Girl, Atonement, Doctor Strange (liked his role but the film was a bit of a mess), Star Trek Into Darkness (dito)

You were right! I just read the description of August Osage County in the tv listings, and they call it a “hilarious comedy-drama’. So it was supposed to be funny, and I was supposed to be laughing at the humour and not at how awful it was.

There are some there I don't recognise. Also I didn't think to add Cabin Pressure to my list, but love this too and have it.

Which ones don't you recognise dickens? I can add some details if you like (of the ones I have seen of course).
