Has this event been cancelled?

I didn't saw it! It's really old. They canceled it almost immediately after the second date was announced.

If I remember well (it seems they deleted the tweets). It was originally scheduled early October and then early November.

He was in New York around that time so he wasn't filming but promoting TPOTD. I don't know where he is right now but next week he will be doing at least one American morning show. We don't know if live or on zoom, of course. And both he was announced and canceled for an event in Paris so I'm guessing he is in the UK.

His Dr. Strange co-star Elisabeth Olsen already moved to another project. She is filming an HBO series with Jesse Plemons (who wasn't at TIFF because the Scorsese movie but by the NYFF, he was busy doing the project with Olsen). It's a series and she is the star so she shouldn't be available anytime soon to do long re-shoots.

I don't know. I think if he is still doing re-shoots it is only him and it shouldn't occupied too much of his time. He probably is more busy with the TPOTD awards campaign

I think it was cancelled because the DS2 reshoots. Actually, the old posts above are about the cancellation. Maybe the first time was about the COVID-19?
But if I remember well, the only event he canceled because COVID was TPOTD screening in Paris which it was a shame because he would had been sharing stage with the great Isabelle Huppert! She still praised him so that was cool!

He more recently kinda joked (or not?) that he got sick at the BAFTAS but they were much later and if he canceled something because he was sick then it were the NYFCC awards ceremony which it is also a huge shame because they are much more cool awards than the Oscars! But officially he didn’t went because he was shooting Henry Sugar but, yeah, they were immediately after the BAFTAs and a few people didn’t went because they got sick there.
