That's hilarious! Mads seems to have a wicked sense of humour. Remember that interview where the guy said BC smelled like cinnamon? 😂😂
I'm off to read the whole interview now - thanks for posting it!
EDIT: Just read it and totally agree with you on everything. The photos are gorgeous. Mads is terrific and such a character to interview. Really enjoyed it. Thanks again for posting it.

Oh, this was hilarious. I am not that well familiar with Mads's roles, but he is a terrific actor: the critics were complaining that he was undersued in doctor Strange but I think he managed to create quite a compelling villain within a short screentime. A pity his role in Star Wars was rather cliché.

the critics were complaining that he was undersued in doctor Strange I think this was the biggest problem with Doctor Strange. Other than that, I thought it was a wonderful film, my favorite MCU movie after Guardians of the Galaxy. But then again making villains compelling has always been a particular shortcoming of the MCU apart from Loki and Bucky. And I did like Nebula in GoTG but she wasn't the main villain. I love Mads. He has a very nice sense of humor, and I definitely agree with him on the Danes v. Swedes thing (also the Finns v. Scandinavians, but he totally forgot poor little Iceland lol.) The "not so PC" thing is so true, although I'm pretty sure his kids didn't actually call him a "fucking moron" re: Rhianna. Didn't know he used to be a gymnast, that's cool.

I watched the deleted scenes and I can see that Mads was the one who suffered most. On the other hand, I can understand why they have shortened his role, he was important not as such, but as the element that introduce the ambiguity of the Ancient One. And of course, the whole film is a set up for the future animosity betweeen Strange and Mordo and this was beautifully done. Still, Mads had such a charismatic presence, he was satisfactory - even if not memorable - villain. I cannot even remember other Marvel villains, with the exception of Loki, of course.
