I just saw this and I think it's great because it shows how award pundits are the opposite of knowledgeable film critics,
I vaguely remember the Twitter meltdown when Godard's film won.
Godard was a great filmmaker but also intentionally a very polemical person! I recommend, apart of his filmography, the documentary about his relationship with Truffaut. Ironically or maybe not, Godard was the rich boy who went Msoist meanwhile working class Truffaut was much more moderate.
