There is a hint at two things they could be. Internet does not help. I surmize there is something that refers to vulgar Aphrodite against celestial aphrodite... When Watson talks about Irene, dinner, hostel... That can be either chums talks/brotherly / fellow human advice, either it can be a kind of blessing... Referring to the celestial A... There I can see the argument. Cheating. Very popular withe the Bourgeois that tend to emulate the jet setters, who do their best to emulate the... Aristocracy (celestial aphrodites is not for commoners, in ancient Greece).
When that's what it is about, that's a huge cliché. Very dissapointing in such a quality work.
So, what are 'johnlockers' supposed to be ? (I do not get trolls, either, btw. Trolling, I understand. But trolls... That's mythology or fiction. Not easy to rely on to describe a real phenomenon while being sincere...).
Please let me know.
Till later,
Pam☺

Hey, Pam! There are several groups of Sherlock fans who think Sherlock and John are in love with each other but they might not know it. Do you know the term shipping? It's to denote a pairing of couples on a show that the fans would like to be romantically involved. The name of the ship for John and Sherlock is Johnlock (JL). It would be like calling Romeo and Juliet: Romliet or Julio.
Lots of people think Sherlock is gay and John is bisexual and they follow that ship, mostly in fan fiction, fan art or simply making up little "head canons" in which they're together. That's perfectly harmless, I think.
There is a faction of Johnlockers who are (more than a bit) fanatical. They think the show was expressly written for that ship to happen in canon. That is, that the writers were inserting clues and subtext from the beginning that implied John and Sherlock would get together in the show. They think there's a big conspiracy to "set things right," and to "fix" the story that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle started telling in 1895 but couldn't because being gay back then was a crime. These folks subscribe to The JL conspiracy theory, and the abbreviation for them is tjlc.
Many (but not all) tjlcers went off the rails at the end of the last season when their desired outcome didn't happen, and they've been harassing Moffat and Gatiss on twitter and sending harsh, stupid letters to the BBC expressing their displeasure. They claim that the show led them on, that the depiction of Mary and Molly was misogynistic, and that the writers are homophobic (despite the fact that Gatiss is gay).
Everyone is sick to death of them. They have lost their ability to think critically as well as their ability to let go and move on. It's become a personal crusade.
Does this help?

To: Queen Zod.
Er, Dear Queen Zod (Please pass the guilt when that is not a correct adress, Your Majesty:)
Re: Actually... 'Help' is not 'wanted' in this... But when you are into hiearchy and provinding help, let me know. I shall send you my LinkedIn adress. Who knows?
Might have typed things a bit quick. Will rephrase my question.
"I grant my wife all the cheating she can do, but not the help..." Who said that paternalistic thing before 1789? About every aristocrat. They still are saying, and doing it... So '1801-2017', 227 years ago ! And the other snobs are emulating them... Cliché.
How's the weather in the phantom dimension?
Here, we are having rain and sun.
Yours, er, Ah, I do not know the closing formula either, 'your Majesty'...
Er, truly yours,
Pam

Re, ClearCoolWaters
Dear user,
Queen Zod ? On this thread ? Where ?
Well, writing down all your posts from the late imdb forum and showing it around, no one understood what 'JohnLockers' meant either... (And I was a student in ToDai, Tokyō Daigakū, so, that kind of abbreviation is not unknown to me ;p). Not talking about tj c or l or ?
Sure thing, you wan't me outta here. Well...
Who knows ?
Yours truly,
Pam☺

I'm sorry. I don't want you out of here. I understood the first few posts, just not the most recent ones. I wasn't being hostile, but wanted to let you know that whatever you were trying to say was lost.

Yeah, I don't want you outta here either, but I just can't understand your posts. There are a gob of references to what seems to be unrelated information. To me, it looks like word salad. You asked a question: what are Johnlockers, and I answered to the best of my ability. If that doesn't work for you, I don't know what to say. You also seem to be having a laugh about my user name and I can't tell if it's good natured ribbing or it irritates you in some way.
