I am reading it but haven’t finished it yet. I read a part and then forgot about it! It’s entertaining but it’s not the Patrick Melrose novels or Ian McEwan!

Also:
If the vampires flick will not happen then maybe Cuarón should be interested in this new thing about the guy who doesn’t get old? Pleaseeee!

The current issue of People Magazine lists the book as one of their People Picks this week. There's no mention of Benedict or the movie, though.

It is good to see that BC’s following through with his company’s initiative to promote quality material. They really did have a corporate vision for the company and are just now able to make it a reality. I just re-watched that CNN interview with him when he was hosting the 2015 Laureus Awards and he specifically said at that time SunnyMarch was looking at all sorts of projects to get off the ground but they were being very selective. It was interesting to look back on this interview and see what those efforts behind the scenes were capable of producing now that they have established more financial backing and done a lot of networking in the industry.

Well, for my birthday I received (among other things) a copy of How to Stop Time and I am really, really liking this book - and I think it will make a terrific movie!
I still have a ways to go in the book (so please don’t post any spoilers unless under a cover) but I love how it covers so many different time periods. The language is rich without being pretentious. It is an easy book to read and the way the author writes makes everything feel immediate. The interior aspect of the character might present a challenge but I think an actor of BC’s caliber will be able to emote those thoughts well enough. The role will be good work out for his abilities though - with all the different times and places the character is put through!

Didn't somebody here already mention that there are two characters named Christopher and Hal? They are two musicians who accompany Shakespeare's plays along with the main character.

I love Emily's avatar, making the heart shape with BC.
