Also, there is a crazy “hater” trying to convince people that BC is in some way breaking the actors strike because it seems there is some movement around this project (they aren’t even filming it and his casting was announced in May!) Obviously, it’s bonkers because well, America isn’t the world and others countries won’t stop doing their own movies just because something is happening in the USA! In other words, this is a UK production (Sunny March and Film4) that it’s been selling by a French company (MK2) with an Equity contract so no struck Hollywood companies nor SAG contract. Even Eric, which will be on streaming in Netflix and was shot in part in NY, was considered a non-struck foreign production by the WGA so they decided no protesting it! And WGA was much more aggressive than SAG! There were American actors alongside the British ones like BC and Clarke Peters but I bet that even them were also under an Equity contract (even when they aren’t Equity members. BC and CP are, of course, members!) and that if the SAG strike were happening then, they would had been contractually obligated to film it like a lot of actors under Equity contracts were obligated to do it!
Anyway, some poor person was trying to explain her that she was wrong with some rational explanations. Obviously without success! But it caught my attention that this person claimed it was also being actively cast on Spotlight. I guess we could say that Spotlight is kinda similar to sites like Production Weekly and UK casting but it’s much more serious and professional. You only can join it if you are really a professional actors or a professional casting director.
Also OT but BC’s Spotlight entry was recently updated with his The Book of Clarence role. He is playing Benjamin, the Begger.

That Hater who believes BC isn't going to do The Thing with Feathers is a fixture on Gator's blog. She is also a diehard, hardline Freebatcher.
She is so far down the Hater rabbit hole she can kiss Aeltri on the cheek! She believes EVERYTHING Gator and Aeltri say.
Unfortunately there's no talking sense to people like this. They're like the Trump cultists. Black is white, up is down, a lie is the truth!
At this moment she's on Gator's blog in the comments section, pressing VERY hard her "theory" that the recent pap picture of Sophie and BC is FAKE and that the person in the picture with Sophie is NOT BC but a doppelganger or an AI image (because BC and Sophie have split up a while back and he would NOT be seen with her!).
These people are completely delusional!

It's funny because I kinda guessed she was a "hater" when I saw the mere suggestion that he was somehow breaking the strike with this project. The next time I saw the thread, she was referring to Hunter as BC's ex! Lol

I just finished the book. I bought it practically since the film was announced but it’s an extremely thin book and more poetry than plot so I started it and finished it quickly today.
No idea how they will adapt it! It’s clearly a challenge to try to be faithful to it because again: it’s a long poem!
Anyway I understand The End we start from was also a difficult adaptation so we will see…

I just finished the book today.
It is a slim volume but I can totally see it being made into a substantial movie script.
And I grew quite emotional at the riding.
It packs a punch - something BC could hit out of the park so to speak!
I really enjoyed the book. It spoke very truthfully about grief and love.
