I only found out this week that Florence Pugh is in the movie - naked! - so now I have another reason not to see it. I can’t stand her, although I’ve never seen her in anything. I’m also guessing that there isn’t any male nudity in the film (since no one is talking about it), so that goes against my nudity policy.

I think they show her boobs. She played Amy in Greta’s Little Women - did you see that?

They showed Cillian Murphy's "boobs" too.
So, as far as nudity goes, I guess it's tit for tit!
No butts or genitals of either sex.
The skin in the movie was not over drawn. I doubt it amounted to two minutes, in a three hour film!

There’s a whole Twitter thread about how FP was the best thing about the movie, and that she’s fantastic in everything she does. Oh, and they were all men who posted in that thread.
Yes, I know she was in Little Women, and I didn’t see it. I’ve seen previous versions, but that one didn’t interest me.

I think Florence Pugh is a tad overrated but she seems to be flavour of the month.

She's perfectly fine in her role in Oppenheimer IMO. I didn't find her outstanding but neither did she detract from my enjoyment. I've seen her in a couple of other things - "Don't Worry Darling" (in which I thought she was fjne) and some other projects that I can't say I even noticed her (some episodes of Marcella and Outlaw King).
I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to watch her but on the other hand, I wouldn't avoid movies with her in it.
I'd say the standout roles in Oppenheimer were Murphy and RDJ. And they towered over EVERYONE else.
But the rest of the cast did the movie justice, so no one stood out as being out of place.
Personally, I really liked the way Nolan told this story. It felt very "interior" as opposed to just a straightforward narrative. It was successful in capturing the feelings/fears of Oppenheimer as he hurled himself towards his destiny.
He wasn't presented as a shining hero. He was shown to be a very flawed man who was often intuitive yet as so very blind, smooth talking and yet extremely awkward and highly intelligent but at the same time suffering from such tunnel vision that he acted very stupidly. A lot of contradictions for sure. And CM (through Nolan's direction the way he structed the movie) pulled all of this off masterfully, I thought.

I think the Twitter thread about FP was about her possibly playing Rapunzel in a live-action remake. Isn’t Rapunzel a child, or at least very young?

Yes I think she’s fine and would be happy to watch stuff she’s in. But I don’t think she’s outstanding so am a bit mystified about the level of”buzz” that surrounds her. Yes the acting in Oppenheimer was flawless. I’m just not a Nolan fan and find his directorial approach irritating. So all in all I didn’t enjoy the narrative and structure.

I’m not sure but doesn’t she get her Prince in the end so must be at least late teens - one would hope!!! That said FP played Amy from the age of 12 to adulthood in Little Women. ,

Like you said she OK but not outstanding.
Honestly I must be out of the loop on buzz about her because I've never heard of her. She's not someone I've ever noticed "in the news" (not like Timothée Chalamet - he's EVERYWHERE!).
Like I said, I saw her in Don't Worry Darling and didn't mind her at all but she didn't stand out as an actress in anyway either. Not as someone extraordinary, that made me want to see more of what she could do. The only actor who stood out in Don't Worry Darling was Harry Styles and he was HORRIBLE!
I see she's in Dune 2, but I absolutely HATED the first part, so I won't be taking another trip into THAT desert!
