There were events with Mark Gatiss and Steve Moffat.
According to BFI Mark Gatiss was going to talk about his favourite television moments, including those that nurtured his imagination and inspired his performances – evident in iconic works such as The League of Gentlemen and Sherlock. Radio Times TV editor Alison Graham asks the questions.
Steven Moffat was going to be in conversation with comedian and lifelong Who fanatic Frank Skinner. He was going to be included in Radio Times Hall of Fame.

Aiden Turner would a good Wolverine now that Hugh Jackman is out. Although, after watching Logan, I think they'll go for a She-Wolverine. Btw, Wolverine is the only character from Marvel that I found really interesting. The other comic character that I like is DC's Batman. Aiden Turner is big lately.

The Radio Times article, as well as the other articles posted about this, have the usual negative comments at the bottom. Some people are still insisting that SM doesn't care about what the Sherlock fans want. But if you read what he says in these articles, it's clear that he knows exactly what we want. He talks about the fans loving the music, the direction, the production design, but above all - Benedict and Martin. He called them "magic" - and I would agree. After 4 seasons, I still find it hard to describe the show to someone who hasn't seen it. But "magic" is a good word for it.

I do wish that Norbury crowd would just move on. They're just a bunch of entitled aholes.

I also wish the #Norbury crowd would move on but that isn't likely to happen any time soon I am afraid. They must be some very special kind of sourpuss jerks who just want to spoil any enjoyment that someone else might get out of hearing about anything connected to show. It seems every innocuous reference or comment made by M&/or G is looked upon as just another opportunity for them to "stick it to M&G". It seems that is how they get their jollies.
They remind me so much of the shitty haters of Sophie. They employ the same tactics of twisting words, willing ignorance of the obvious and being loud as opposed to being retrospective. They hide behind the same social justice issues to give themselves an air of legitimacy to naive followers. And they have lost all perspective on how their actions look to the rest of humanity (they live in their own bubble world where they are the true "heroes" of this scenario).
I am not on Tumblr but it isn't hard for me to imagine that somewhere out there the haters of M&G are gleefully rubbing their hands and cackling about the BAFTA nom blanks for TAB Sherlock today. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
But on a more pleasant note - I will be in London when the BAFTA awards event is on. We are out touring on that particular day but it would be great is we got back in time to at least take a trip down to the hall and see some of the glitz and glamour on parade - especially if BC and Sophie make an appearance!!!
:-))
