I bet it was a ton of fun doing this movie, but man does it look like a lot of hard physical labour!
That contraption alone the twirled him around completely must have wrecked havoc with your inner ear balance. That looks like the sort of thing they used to do with astronauts in training.

:)Wow that was fantastic to watch Dr. Strange on my iPad last night. It played okay on a small screen.
Edit: SPOILERS
Probably not needed. Loved it on tv! I bought the digital and played it through my Apple TV and it was still so dramatic. I thought it might lessen the effect from 3D but it didn't. I watched the original three ways. regular 3D with dark glasses, but it was too dark. IMAX 3D which was perfect. And now Blu-Ray through Apple TV off digital. And I liked it better in some ways. It makes it more personal, maybe because you see it closer. I noticed a blooper, and I noticed a few changes I hope they make.
I hope Benedict plays it in his own voice, bc the British pops into the conversations, and his voice is like dark velvet ( sound to corny?) to me. And it would add to the character. Two, I hope he plays it more dramatic. On tv it would be strong. I loved this movie. [\fontsize"3"]

I was really amazed at how much physicality there was to making this movie! I'm still trying to figure out what that spinny thing they have around his waist and how that works. I've watched this movie about four times now at home on the BIG tv, and it's so gorgeous. Also catching a few things here and there that I missed on the big screen. All of the extras are also interesting. B Wong is a delight.

So QZ, do you have the regular DVD version or the Blu-ray?
Does your version have all the bonus features?
And is there a director's commentary track?
:-))

I bought the digital version through Comcast. It has the extras but not the DVD commentary. I've watched it about six times now. Is that a lot? ๐

I love a good challenge! I only saw it twice in the theater, so I'm up to eight times total. However, I think there's someone on Tumblr who has seen it about 75 times, so we have a long way to go. ๐

Well, 75 times seems a bit excessive even to me, but there are some bits I could watch over and over again, like the Strange - Ancient One meeting for the first time, for example.

I love that part, too! Especially when she kicks him out and he's so depressed and hanging out at her door. That little "thank you" kills me every time.
I adore scruffy Ben. ๐๐๐
