This thing kind of blow out of proportion. And yes, it’s on my local newspaper, too! I think people just wanted to read something positive about a celebrity! I have seen a few people not doubting (although AV has this crazy conspiracy theory that it was a PR stunt by Uber and the food delivery company who apparently met and decided it was the perfect plan because the big celebrity would never publicly deny it) but pointing out that the part of being the Good Samaritan hasn’t been 100% confirmed. The event was confirmed by a few newspaper so that definitely happened but the police didn’t identify the name of anyone involved. The Sun has the statement by the Uber driver and supposedly a quote by BC but BC’s people hasn’t answered request by anyone else. Still the driver didn’t named just BC but also Sophie Hunter so if the so called hero was someone else then the guy was with someone who casually also looked as BC’s wife! Also yes, BC was in London at the time. He was shooting scenes for Patrick Melrose then. benedict-cumberbatch.freeforums.net/thread/122/patrick-melrose?page=58Anyway, I doubt we will have an official statement so I don’t think it will be a 100% confirmation.

Whose AV? The only place I saw that conspiracy theory was on Septic sites but if you saw it on Twitter then they got it from there or it was haters spreading it on twitter. Haters want to believe it is a PR campaign but they of course want to have Sophie behind it (although it just has to be really twisted six ways to Sunday to get the eeeeeevil Sophie part - but you know the haters... they LOVE impossible theories fit!!). I really don't have any problem with believing that BC did this. This sounds very much like the kind of guy who jumped in and had a confrontation with a whole group of fellow students who taunting another student because he was gay. At such a young age that takes the courage of a lion, so it well establishes for me he could do this. :-))
