It's on Netflix as of today. They announced the date a while ago, but I didn't know if that included Canada. It does!
But I have a problem with Netflix: I actually couldn't find Doctor Strange anywhere. It's not under New Releases or Recently Added. Or under any other category. And I haven't received any notifications about it. I realize it isn't the kind of thing I normally watch, so maybe Netflix is confused. But I would think that they look at actors and not just genres when they recommend stuff for us to watch. I actually had to do a search for it in order to find it and add it to My List.
And I still haven't received any notifications about the new Sherlock episodes - and that's the show I've watched continuously since I got Netflix in 2013! Shouldn't that be a sign that I might maybe want to know when there are new episodes to watch?

I think it's my Netflix app that's the problem. It seems like every time there's an update, it starts acting funny. On Sunday when I went on it, My List was missing entirely. I was getting the screen you get when you first subscribe. When I went to My List from the menu, it just explained how to add shows to a list and asked if I wanted to get started. They were also giving me suggestions from categories that I have never shown any interest in, like movies about sports! I panicked a bit, but when I clicked on shows like Sherlock, they still had the checkmark to indicate that they were on my list. Thankfully, yesterday it was back to "normal", but I just checked again and Doctor Strange is still not listed as a new release.

I just got my notice for Dr. Strange. "Here's a movie you may be interested in." HA! "May." Netflix, hon, I live for that movie. 😂
