www.mediafire.com/file/2k9pxmvpx609dbl/BC+Round+Table+Interview+STiD+Japan.mp3Fascinating audio file with BC talking about his role in STiD but also a whole host of other topics. I especially love when he went into depth about Stanley Kubrick and the human significance of 2001; A Space Odyssey. And he mentioned Solaris one of my favourite SciFi movies (doesn't matter which version - both of them qualify as a favourite of mine). Of course he went on a bit too long for the Japanese translator (poor woman) who had a gigantic task of interpreting what he was saying for the audience! I don't think I have ever heard this one before today. I have seen some other Japanese interviews he did at that time (one of them on YouTube) - but not this one. And I loved when he talked about how he liked the fact that JJ Abrams was director who was a fan and carried with him an enthusiasm for the genre that he worked in. I think this is something that BC also liked about Scott D. with DS. BC said he likes directors who are not cynical about films and show a enthusiastic love for what they are doing. It was just a delight to hear him speak. Really made my morning. :-))
