I was watching The Coroner on PBS tonight, and was pleasantly surprised to find Benedict's dad! I've seen him in things before, but this was recent - from 2015. I know that Wanda has done recent stuff besides Sherlock, so it's nice to see that Tim is still acting. He played the family patriarch/murder victim near the start of the episode, so he was mainly seen in flashbacks and as a dead body in the morgue. But he did it well!
There was another familiar face in the show: Playing TC's son was the actor that played Mycroft's friend at Buckingham Palace in ASIB, where Sherlock showed up in the sheet. He also played young Alan Turing's teacher in The Imitation Game.
It's a bit of a small world with these British actors!
