Who watched the leaked episode? The first thing I thought when they killed the dragon was that he was going to be brought back to "life". Why were people so surprised on twitter -I didn't searched on other sites-?
Not liking much this season. It is like they are stalling to complete a season. The siblings are reunited but (almost) nothing happens to them, except Jon.
The part when they were waiting for Dany was at least suspenful because -except JS- anyone may die but they only killed very secondary characters. JS left behind was artificial imo. Nobody is going to think JS will die.
Emilia Clarke is such a bad actress and KH is not much better. They almost always have the same face.

I don't understand how that surprised anyone either! But then again I'm kind of, like, very into GoT. Read all the books including the tales of Dunk & Egg, The World of Ice and Fire etc, have re-watched the show plenty of times and spend ridiculous amounts of time online reading all kinds of theories and stuff (except plot leaks! I did watch the leaked episode but I haven't read any production leaks.) For me the show started going in the wrong direction in season 5, I got really bored around episode 6 that season and even stopped watching in real-time for a while (imagine my delight coming back and having the excellent Sapochnik eps to watch first, Hardome and all!) But yes season 7 has been quite disappointing, I don't think it's going nowhere in fact I think it's moving waaaaay too fast. Episode 5 was ridiculous, everyone traveled around Westeros seven times over and Jaime and Bronn somehow swam underwater for like half a kilometer in full armor. Yeah ok. Episode 6 was good as a stand-alone, but their plan to go Beyond the Wall to catch a damn wight was so dumb that I couldn't do anything but yell "Jon you're a dumbass!" throughout it all lol. My favorite character in the books is Jaime and my favorite House the Martells so you can imagine how much I think GoT has done them justice. Jaime on the show is full-out character assassination at this point and of course DD did a hatchet job with all of Dorne except Oberyn - but then again season 4 was the golden era of the show (seasons 3-4 for me, among the best seasons of any show ever - though the second half of season 6 from The Door to Winds of Winter was also excellent.)

I didn't read the books. And I only watched once each episode so you can call me a casual. I understand that in some ways it is going fast but for me all those scenes are like fillers. The love story between JS and Dany is awful. People on reddit were saying they have great chemistry. I feel nothing watching them. I read a recap of episode 6 and I agree with something: On the same level of the killing of the dragon by the NK (and his transformation)it would have been JS riding the other dragon named after his father. Instead we got him stupidly staying back, falling into the freezing water, and returning on a horse. That part for me was the worst. Also, the Hound being so stupid as to throw the stones, then break the ice but just once. The Stark children choice is now very weird with Samsa towering over Arya. The difference is too big and little Bran is like 2 meters. That part with Samsa and Arya was boring.
