I know it’s not politically correct but I have this lawyer friend who just last week told me that sadly the sudden child sexual abuse accusations are common during custody trials. She wasn’t speaking about Woody Allen but about local case, by the way.
I’m no saying this is the case here but again the case it’s very disturbing and complex. And the girl is the victim no matter what.

Those researchers did a shoddy job, whether they were bought off or not. I remember that they said they thought Dylan might be psychotic because she talked about a box of heads in the attic, or words to that effect. They didn’t ask anyone else what she might be talking about. Mia later said that she kept her old costumes in the attic and Dylan was referring to her wig stands. Just imagine being a mentally ill person who might or might not be committed on the recommendation of these people.
As for Moses, I feel sorry for him. The devastation and fallout from what happened to that family must be incredible. The judge didn’t rely only on his testimony at all. What Woody Allen did through his relationship with Soon Yi is as clear as day. There is no gray area. Ronan Farrow once tweeted it best: He married his children’s sister. That is simply a fact not based on media coverage.
Did he molest Dylan? I suppose without photographic evidence or DNA we’ll never know for sure, but why would I believe him? He has less credibility than almost any human being on earth.

It could be that the doctors did a shoddy job and the police also did a shoddy job or the judge was prejudiced (as Allen defenders claim) but I found very difficult to be sure about any side here.

I agree Sgev. I think it is impossible to know for sure. Human beings are complex and you can't just assume that because Allen married Soon Yi he is guilty of molesting Dylan. All any of us know is what we've read in the media and as I've said before there are so many conflicting reports it's impossible to know for sure one way or the other.

Poor Dylan. Again, barring photographic evidence (I can’t help but think of the nude, splayed-leg photographs of Soon Yi that Allen left around Mia’s apartment for her and god knows who else to find) we’ll never know for sure.
“Allen defenders” says it all. That such people even exist is a shock that I will simply never get over. It’s incredible.

I'm not an Allen defender. I simply don't feel the case has been proven.
I must say though Coolclearwaters that I'm surprised at your degree of certainty on this. Do you not think it's possible that the Allen defenders know the guy personally and therefore better than you do, and may have reason to believe him?
Polanksi and Weinstein admitted what they did. Allen has always utterly denied the Dylan accusations. You know it may just be possible he is telling the truth and that's why some people who know him are prepared to defend him.
And it's why I don't feel able to call it on the basis of the info in the public domain. It simply is not conclusive one way or the other.

Photographic evidence it’s not necessary for this kind of cases. Maybe if Farrow would had decided to continue with a criminal case against Allen it would had been confirmed by another more competent medical team but she didn’t, saying she didn’t wanted to traumatize the girl. Maybe it was the right decision but the doubt is still there.

Like I said, we’ll never no for sure. The Soon Yi stuff we do know. There is no doubt. None. He and his remaining friends can go f@*k themselves.

You say we will never know for sure and then you say there is no doubt. If we will never know for sure how can there be no doubt?
Anyway, maybe no point in going round and round on this.

We’ll never know for sure about Dylan (even though she is still alive and making the claims. We’ll give her father who slept with her sister the benefit of the doubt). We know for sure about Soon Yi.
