Those photos are hilarious. He looks like an angry used car salesman.

I just read it. It's one of those silly nice interviews the magazine does between celebrities. In this case BC by his friend THOM YORKE!!!
There are interesting bits about his technique as actor (clearly one of his favorite themes which always reflects in all his loose styled interviews) and confession about never feeling he got right his roles in Rhinoceros and... Hamlet!
Also he says there are plans for another play in "not so distant future"

I zeroed in on that bit right away about him doing more theatre! That’s great news and I will keep my fingers crossed that it comes to fruition! That man was born for the stage.
My other favourite part of the interview was when he talked about rehearsing his highly emotional lines while on the toilet, so as to keep the boys from experiencing their dad from being too frightful with wide mood swings.
That part just made me smile.

Great interview and gorgeous pictures! I'll have to look for that magazine.
It makes me a bit sad that he had these interviews and photoshoots ready to come out in time for The Current War premiere.

Yes, it was a great interview - very different with having someone who is a friend of BS’s do the interview and the fellow asked some very different questions.
The pix were cool too. I like that they almost told a little story. Very avant-garde and edgy. He was very much in “character” in them. And I would personally love to get a hold of those shoes he was wearing on the cover!! The ones with the buckle. Very chic.
I too feel a bit sad that this sort of unique publicity was waiting in the wings to promote a movie that was shelved because of something that had nothing to do with the actual film or Ben’s performance in it. Every time I read a reference to the film in one of these pieces it makes me sigh just a bit. A lot of wasted effort for nothing. You’re lucky Mllemass - at least you got to see it!
I have a feeling that if and when they ever do release TCW they will probably just dump it quickly with as little fan-fare as possible - next year perhaps (and I can’t see him doing any more publicity for it). Too bad for BC. Maybe it wasn’t Oscar material but I still was looking forward to seeing it...

It seems he is dressed as a young Tom Waits in a pair of those photos!

I’ve sometimes found something a little Tom Waits-ish Benedict’s looks (if Waits were a cheerful, gregarious, posh Brit. LOL!) - the slightly long face, auburn curls, cupid-bow lips, and large, expressive hands. Then there’s the deep voice - although he needs to gargle lye a few times to sound like Waits. I guess I like Tom Waits! They should play father and son in some Jim Jarmusch movie.

I am also disappointed so much was already probably waiting to help promote TCW. In fact, last time he was on Jimmy Fallon he was promoting it, back in September I think. I thought that was a little too soon for a January wide release in the US. So what is coming out now could still stand as publicity for a summer 2018 release I suppose, if that is the eventual plan. I just hope it comes out at all in theaters.....
One answer in Interview that stuck out for me was the very articulate one denying that he is ever goofy! Has he seen the gag reels from STID or DS? LOL!
