Good morning! (What a futile thing to say in a forum with people from all over the time zones but it's morning for me haha.)
I know some of you ladies like Star Wars, have any had the chance to see Last Jedi yet? I saw it last night when it premiered in Finland and it was sooooo good. I'm interested in hearing everyone's thoughts and opinions on the film, especially those of Star Wars fans, since it's not...Force Awakens, lets say that to avoid any possible spoiler. I loved Force Awakens but I loved The Last Jedi more.
Definitely going to go see this one again in the cinemas, which as a rule I don't do. The only films that I've ever seen in the theaters more than once are Titanic, Return of The King and The Force Awakens.

Explain this to me. Also, I want spoilers, please. I'm not watching it but I want to know what happened.

Haha. Yeah it's a very decisive film, seems fans either really love it or really hate it (I'm in camp love. Best SW film since Empire Strikes Back.) Well I'll put under spoiler tags. Basically, it verged away from good Jedi v. evil Sith - including making Luke Skywalker do a morally ambiguous thing (gasp!) Although a bigger issue is...well actually there's a Sherlock example here that fits nicely, think the "explanation" to the Fall! Fans have been speculating for two years (well, I haven't cause I'm so deadly afraid of Star Wars spoilers - it's really the only franchise I'm this neurotic about - that I am afraid to visit any Star Wars related internet sites between films since there's always a ton of production spoilers) about two major things: 1) who are Rey's (the main character) parents and b) who is Snoke (the big bad of the film before this, Kylo Ren's master.) But this film revealed that Rey's parents are nobodies, and Snoke got killed without us ever being the wiser about who he was and where he came from. So the hardcore fans feel betrayed by all their speculation being for nothing.

*divisive, not decisive. Oops. Sorry I was afraid I'd mess the formatting up if I edited my post (since it's got spoiler tags.) Oh yeah and there are these. The Porgs. That people hate more than is in any way normal or reasonable lol.

Also Luke Skywalker dies. I think that’s the major spoiler. I haven’t watched it but someone told me!

I won't be watching this, just like I've never watched any Star Wars movie. So spoilers won't bother me!

sgev1977 yep, that's the major spoiler but I don't think that's what made people most angry. That was actually very well done. I won't be watching this, just like I've never watched any Star Wars movie. So spoilers won't bother me! Yeah, ok? They might bother someone else hence the spoiler tags?

Thank you for the spoilers and comments.
I'm still not seeing it.
I thought Rey and Finn were going to be a couple. Not that I care for romance on a Star Wars movie.
Question: are the POC going to be absolutely secondary characters? Like Rey and Kylo, both white, are who are going to bond (?) while the black guy and the Asian girl do the same? I hope they don't put Oscar Isaacs as a love interest for DR. He's too old for her.
