I am not a Buddhist but I did find this article from The Atlantic very interesting and since BC identifies heavily with the Buddhist philosophy of mindfulness and uses meditation I thought others on this board might be interested in reading this fascinating conversation between two friends who took different paths in life and yet found a lot of common ground in their discussion... www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2017/12/buddhism-and-neuroscience/548120/Having gone through an experience recently with a dear friend who was under incredible mental stress (and almost lost her life because of her mental state) I can certainly see the benefits of learning from multiple sources how to help bring a person back into mental balance. I like that these two have very different life experiences and yet treat each other with the utmost respect and appreciation. :-))
