If it's true, I hope he doesn't get in trouble. It's supposedly a big project (it's directed by Jackson!) and if I understood the Google translation well, he send an e-mail as an excuse for not going to a press conference saying he was in London doing a reading (casting?) for this movie!

The only movie Jackson has announced on Imdb is a movie about Tintin which is about a trip to Perú. Perhaps there is the relation to the Amazon Jungle.

It sounds like BC is playing the main role but I doubt he will play Tintin! Or that Tintin is exactly an alternative James Bond. At least, he is EXTREMELY alternative! 😉
Also a confession: I never watched The Hobbit movies and I think The Lord of the Rings series is kinda good but EXTREMELY boring. But I absolutely loved King Kong and Tin Tin! Lol
His last movie They Shall not Grow Old is a masterpiece. One of the best movies I have seen in the last few years.

I agree about They Shall Not Grow Old. Astonishing filmmaking, amazing stories. I love the LoTR trilogy b/c it’s one of my favorite books ever, although the movies are a bit long and a trifle ponderous. The hobbit movies aren’t worth watching imo. Talk about boring! I make an exception for Smaug because reasons, lol. I think PJ drank his own koolaid and got too serious making them. One long movie that was sharp & funny would have been much better.

I think he is a brilliant filmmaker but yeah some of his movies are just too long! Even King Kong which I loved, felt like it has a lot of unnecessary scenes.
He clearly can be edgy when he wants. I haven't watched his early horror films but Heavenly Creatures is astonishing.
I don't like James Bond movies but if it's a more edgy version it could be cool.
Also the article sounds like it's something imminent which it's odd because I imagine he will be busy for a long time with Dr. Strange sequel but, at least the actor was doing a weird joke, the source seems serious.

I'm sure that BC has nothing to do with the movie this guy is talking about if it is imminent. He has Doctor Strange.
I didn't watch Lord of the Rings. I started watching the first and it bored me. I had already read the books which I liked, I also read The Hobbit and The Silmarillion.
I didn't watch King Kong either, I liked Tin Tin.
Edit: I didn't read you last post sgev1977 and I wrote almost the same.

Correction: Tin Tin was directed by Steven Spielberg not Jackson. He produced it. I'm not sure who will direct the sequel.
King Kong is wonderful. It feels like a very old 1930s Hollywood movie but with stunning special effects. It's just a big fun.
There is this fictional tribe in the fictional King Kong island that it's portrayed like savage subhuman creatures, tho.

Ok. It seems it was indeed a weird joke by the actor,

Not rumored but I think Eric Idle once mentioned BC for Spamalot.
