I’m sure he will have his sequel. It will probably be announced after the Infinity War movie(s)
About Black Panther, after the massive success I was also sure he will be the new leader. It will go with the character’s nature, too. He is a leader meanwhile Dr. Strange is a mysterious character who is not exactly part of the group. Spider-Man is just a kid so he wouldn’t be credible like Avengers leader. Still, I’m surprised by critics saying that Black-Panther is not a charismatic character. That the real interesting characters are the supporting ones! According to what I read, he is not Iron-Man. If that’s true how can he fills Downey Jr’s shoes? You know what I would like. A woman as the leader! Maybe Brie Larson could be the new The Avengers leader! I hear her character is very powerful!

I still haven't seen BP! But I thought he was very charismatic in Civil War, the most interesting character in fact. I would be happy with him, or a woman, as the leader. I'd almost prefer DS as the weird outsider character, as I like him best puttering around his spooky mansion. Maybe the others can go there to consult him from time to time. If he's not the main character, it frees up more non-Marvel time for other projects, too.

I haven’t watched it neither! Maybe it’s as igs said, he is great but the other characters in his movies are better. I understand he is a perfect wise man so he doesn’t have the flaws of an Iron-Man. Or the villain in his own movie! A few people said he is more interesting Or the female characters which apparently have sense of humor! But yes, I haven’t watched it so maybe I should shut up!

Another thing (before I shut up), I don’t think Doctor Strange should be a leader. For what I understand about the character, he is above all the human things or at least that should be his struggle: trying to be above all human things. That’s the main difference between him and Iron-Man. Both are superficially egotistical and narcissistic with a gold heart but Dr. Strange tries to be another thing and that another thing requires some solitude (there is a religious aspect in his character). I’m sure he will appear in all next Avenger movies but I’m guessing he will be an outsider and not part of the group.
Black Panther is the leader of a country and Captain Marvel is a militar so they are more obvious options.
The question is who of them could have Iron-Man’s charisma? My subjective opinion is that Cumberbatch is the most charismatic of all but I wouldn’t like to see him as the center and all of Marvel movies. I prefer they help him to develop other more humble but artistic ambitious projects and not being just the heart and soul of Marvel like Downey has been in all these years.

I know nothing about these superhero movies, but wasn't there going to be a Doctor Strange sequel where Chiwetel Ejiofor's character was the bad guy? That's how the first movie ended.

In some way they announced the sequel since day one! I’m sure there will be one. Actually I think Derrickson is working in the script right now. He has suggested it.

I'm pretty sure there will be a DS sequel, but my guess is that Marvel is holding off an announcement until after Infinity War drops in an effort to not give away whether Strange survives IW.
Yeah, given the overall franchise it makes sense that he's around in the next phase, but to keep the stakes high for the current film it helps to have the sense that everyone is at risk.
As far as charisma, they've got a collection of pretty charismatic people in the Marvel universe, with BC being near the top. That said, I don't think Doctor Strange is the most charismatic *character*. Partly it's that SS is a bit bristly, and standoffish, but I think, oddly, the pasted on facial hair limits BC's expressions a bit (just rewatched Ragnarok last night and really noticed it there)
It makes sense to me that some other characters becomes the "leader": Black Panther, Captain Marvel, etc, and DS becomes the mystic/powerful knowledgeable person who provides guidance and steps in as needed.

I agree. I think the reason DS' sequel hasn't been announced while Spiderman and GOTG have, is because the plot of IW3 or 4 will specifically threaten DS (not Spiderman or Starlord in particular.) For example, in the trailer we see him being tortured with those pointy things, and there is speculation that DS (SERIOUS POTENTIAL SPOILER AHEAD):Anyway, they are really playing up concern about DS: comicbook.com/marvel/2018/03/17/avengers-infinity-war-internet-concerned-doctor-strange/'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer - The Internet Is Concerned For Doctor StrangeDark days are ahead for Marvel's greatest heroes, and fans are especially concerned for Doctor Strange. In the newest Avengers: Infinity War trailer, the sorcerer supreme is shown in good times (next to Peter Parker) and in bad times, which come as a result of Ebony Maw. Unfortunately, those bad times look quite painful, as Strange is seen restrained somehow while Ebony Maw stabs his face with multiple magical needles. Suffice it to say, it does not look fun, and with the stakes quite high for Infinity War as a whole, fans are a little worried. There will most assuredly be a hero or two that doesn't make it through this movie, and many are hopeful that Strange doesn't share that fate. Even if it doesn't mean death for the hero, it probably means bad news for the other heroes of the MCU. In a past storyline from the comics, Doctor Strange went toe to toe with Ebony Maw, and unfortunately, he lost, resulting in Maw finding the location of the other Infinity Stones from Strange's mind. It looks like that torture scene could imply the same fate in the film, especially now that we know Strange does actually have knowledge of their whereabouts, but there's no telling if Maw will be able to pull it off here. Regardless, fans don't want to see their favorite Marvel magic user tortured or in pain, and the internet is having a hard time dealing with it. The good news is that they've shared some delightful reactions to Strange's predicament, and you can check out some of the highlights in the following slides. We'll all learn Strange's fate when Avengers: Infinity War lands in theaters on April 27.

I've seen BP yesterday with my daughter: we both liked it, but mostly for the visuals, which are superb. The story itself is rather lame. I liked it that there are a lot of strong female characters. Cannot see any charisma in the main protagonist, sorry, but I didn't mind: having for once a relatively "normal" guy without the superiority smirk on his face is quite refreshing. And his costume is the cutest of them all, IMO. Still, my daughter said dr Strange was a far better film (that's my opionion, too, but being a fan my objectivity could be compromised).
