Ha! He is asked again about Freeman's comments in the last video. If I am right and he is answering in the first one that he wasn't aware of the comments (and not the fanarts) then clearly this interview was AFTER the other one because he said that YES he is aware of what he said!
Poor Freeman! I hate when journalists do this: asking to a co-worker if he agreed but not mentioning the context!

Yay, he improvised his best one-liner! Did he say "magic, or whatever is coming out of your hands or your ass" at 1:03 in that Radio Times interview? I agree that he originally said he was unaware of MF's comments, not unaware of the shippers. I feel he is answering a different question than the one MF discussed. My take was that MF said disappointed/entitled fans made the prospect of doing more Sherlock seem less fun, for him personally. BC seemed to think MF was blaming the fans for the quality of the work. Two very different topics! So, not very fair without the context. BC probably hadn't read MF's actual interview and is just hearing these secondhand references to it.

In the interview with Spanish subtitles, Benedict says for the thousandth time that DS might not make it out alive, and that the reference to Doctor Strange returning made at the end of the first film has already been fulfilled. But then he says he could return in another form? I was starting to think I shouldn't see this movie if he is going to die, then that last comment! However, we know he is a terrible liar about the secret elements of his roles, such as John Harrison, and in these recent interviews he has either become massively better at lying or he is completely sincere that DS will be gone! I feel soo conflicted, wanting to see what I am sure will be a brilliant movie and hoping that even if he dies he will come back, yet knowing if this is his end, I will cry and be depressed for days!
I mean, has any other MCU character who had an origin story movie then had only a tiny cameo in someone else's third movie and then an ensemble one in which they died? Why DS, when as I understand the comics there is a ton of other material about him?
