Do we really need to tag these posts as spoilers .? Thread already says so. Will do either way. Justwatched the movie...and it was...slightly disappointing. I wanted to see death and it feels like a copout again. We all know most of them ,besides Vision and Gamora (even they might be brought back) ,will be back. Spidy, BP all will be back. They said expect the unexpected but it was as expected as you would think. And it didnt feel like its own film. It felt like half a movie abrupted like that, incomplete. Really didnt like the Wakanda setup, hate Quill love the guardians, but most of all I loved Dr Strange. They did him good. Much better than Scott Derrickson. That says a lot imo. Strange is a smart guy, all movie he never wanted to give up the Stone then he did like that ? I think the one outcome out of 14.000.065 ? Might be wrong about that number, that they did win needed Strange to hand over the time stone. I sta yed away from reviews. My guess this film will be slightly mixed, like 83% on RT. I still dont like Iron Man. Too forced too many times.

I really liked the film until the last 5 minutes. Some characters I thought acted like morons (Scarlet Witch, Starlord, Doctor Strange unfortunately) I went to see it yesterday and I enjoyed it in a popcorn-evening way. It has a lot of funny moments, visually is stunning and the interactions are believable. Typical Marvel, I would say. It is also incredibly overstuffed with many character being there just because they have to be there, even if they have nothing to do but to show what-a-handsome-kickass am I. Black Widow, Black Panther, Captain America and some guys I never remember their name could be cut out and the movie would be probably only better, IMO (but of course they MUST be there, don't they? As for the moron moments, I agree about Scarlet Witch, Starlord (would throw Gomora in, as well), but not about Doctor Strange (massive spoiler!) of course, it could seem incredibly stupid of dr Strange to give T. the gem of infinity, but actually we are given a lot of hints that this is a game changer for the next film 1. Dr Strange says clearly that if it comes to choosing between saving Tony or Spider Man and protecting the Stone, he would not hesitate to sacrifice them. And there is no motive tu suspect he has a change of heart of some kind 2. He has seen millions of something versions of the future and of course, he would choose the only one that gives them the possibility of winning 3. In the case the audience still didn't get it, we have "there was no other way" and "we are in the endgame" statements

Do we really need to tag these posts as spoilers .? Thread already says so. It's kind of weird. I think it's obvious that in the next Avengers film it's going to be like the characters that did die in the last scene will survive and the ones that didn't will actually die. So, almost everybody died except the ones that were supposed to die? Who didn't die? As for hot people, I might add that for the first time I really got Chris Evans' sex appeal. Honestly couldn't take my eyes off of him, what the hell, how did this happen I always thought he looked kind of basic The beard? Not so blond? I like him in Snowpiercer. Well, I wanted SPOILERS! Like the complete plot.

People are not sure they died, died. (Of course, they don’t! They have sequels to do!) They apparently disappear, they become ashes. All the big new stars “die” in this way (Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and others). This happens in part because Doctor Strange decides the only way to win is giving Thanos his Stone (which apparently he very stubbornly defended during all the movie. Remember he even is horribly tortured by one of the villains) and maintain Tony Stark live (even when they hate each other)
There are other characters who died before in other ways and people suspect they are really dead: Loki, Gamora and Idris Elba’s character. Maybe there are others! EDITED: Of course, Vision also (really) dies.
The ones who doesn’t die is the old Avengers and the raccoon from The Guardians of the Galaxy. And Gamora’s sister.

The tech people don’t die. Rocket, Banner, Tony, and Sheri, so they’ll get together and figure something out with Captain Marvel. I had thought at one point that DS puts the entire universe into the mirror dimension, but I’m not sure now.
This really was Brolin’s movie. He was great!

So I saw it today and enjoyed it immensely. I was going to go with friends later this week, but wanted to see it spoiler free and was afraid I'd stumble into spoilers somewhere, so I talked one friend into going with me today Doctor Strange, and Benedict were awesome! And I found myself warming to some characters like Scarlet Witch and Vision who hadn't clicked for me before. Though there were a lot of moving parts, it seemed to do a pretty good job integrating all the characters on their various journeys (Though all the Avengers/Guardians were trying to "save the world" they all had their own motivations and perspectives that came through pretty clearly) It seems clear that many of the people who turned to dust will return at some point, since there are already Spiderman and GotG sequels planned (is it right only Rocket made it to the end, of all the Guardians?) And also telling that all the OG Avengers survived, probably to pay a price in Avengers 4.
I would have liked to see some interaction between Scarlett Witch and Doctor Strange, there could have been some interesting stuff there between the magic folk, just like there was resonance with the "science bros" in earlier films. Thor as a character seems to keep getting better and better, Banner for me didn't fare as well in this. I did like the Thor/GotG mash up, as well as Strange, Stark and Spiderman working together (loved how Peter figured out how to dispatch Ebony Maw...and how Tony explained it)
It seems like Strange had some longer term plan "it was the only way" but him willingly giving up the Time Stone was quite a turn around. He pretty much handled it, right? albeit with a magical assist, which speaks to how powerful he had become.

It just occurred to me. How is Tony going to get off Titan? Isn’t he stuck there by himself now, and Maw’s ship is trashed.
